To encourage its members to fully explore the sport of fencing, to maintain rigorous and demanding schedules of training, to build personal attributes of competition and sportsmanship, to instruct fencers in the fundamentals of this worthwhile sport, to instill responsibility and build success for every member, and most importantly, to live up to the ideals of Brandeis University.
